A piece of pegmatitic skarn with a cluster of perfect, pale yellow, microscopic chiavennite crystals. The crystals form thin, transparent hexagonal blades. Traces of silky white bavenite can also be seen. The main association is quartz, schorl, and microcline.Best viewed in a microscope
